Website content is not a substitute for individualized mental health or medical care.

No Therapist-Client Relationship

Use of this website, submission of a contact form, scheduling inquiry, purchase of a resource, or other interaction with website content does not establish a therapist-client relationship.

A therapist-client relationship begins only after the appropriate intake process, required documentation, clinical acceptance, and initiation of services.

Appointment Inquiries

Appointment inquiries submitted through this website are requests for services only.

Submitting an inquiry:

  • does not guarantee appointment availability;

  • does not guarantee acceptance for counseling services; and

  • does not establish a therapist-client relationship.

Authentic Perspectives Counseling & Wellness Center reserves the right to determine whether available services are clinically appropriate for a prospective client and may recommend alternative services or providers when appropriate.

Website Forms & Clinical Records

Website forms are provided for general administrative purposes, including appointment inquiries and communication with Authentic Perspectives Counseling & Wellness Center.

General website forms are not intended to serve as the practice’s electronic health record or clinical documentation system.

Clinical records, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, and other treatment documentation, are maintained separately through the practice’s electronic health record system.

Users should not submit detailed clinical histories, treatment records, or other sensitive health information through general website forms unless specifically requested or directed to do so by the practice.

Information submitted through website forms is handled in accordance with the Website Privacy Policy. Information that becomes relevant to clinical care may be documented or maintained as required by applicable professional, privacy, and recordkeeping requirements.

Mental Health Services

Authentic Perspectives Counseling & Wellness Center provides mental health counseling and psychotherapy services within the scope of applicable law and professional standards.

Clinical recommendations, treatment planning, scheduling, fees, cancellations, communication, confidentiality, and termination of services are governed by the clinical agreements provided to each client.

No specific therapeutic outcome can be guaranteed.

Private-Pay Services

Authentic Perspectives operates primarily as a private-pay practice. Fees are disclosed before services begin and may vary based on the service selected.

Payment requirements, cancellation fees, refund provisions, session expiration terms, and other financial arrangements are governed by the applicable Financial Policy or service agreement.

The Healing Well™ is governed by a separate Membership & Financial Agreement.

Appointments & Cancellations

Appointment scheduling, cancellation, rescheduling, late-cancellation, and no-show requirements are outlined in the applicable practice policy or service agreement.

Availability of a particular appointment time is not guaranteed.

Client Portal & Communication

Clients may be provided access to a secure patient portal for scheduling, documents, payments, and approved communications.

Email and text messaging are generally intended for administrative communication unless otherwise specified as part of a particular service.

Clinical information should be communicated through the secure patient portal or during scheduled appointments whenever possible.

Social media and direct messaging platforms are not appropriate methods for therapy-related communication.

Telehealth

Telehealth services are provided through approved platforms.

Clients are responsible for participating from an appropriate private location, maintaining adequate internet access, and providing their physical location when required for telehealth care.

Technical disruptions may occasionally affect a telehealth appointment. When this occurs, the clinician and client will determine an appropriate alternative based on the circumstances.

No Emergency or Crisis Services

This website, its contact forms, email, voicemail, and social media accounts are not monitored continuously and should not be used to request emergency or crisis services.

If you are experiencing an immediate or life-threatening emergency, seek assistance from appropriate emergency or crisis services in your area.

Purchases, Programs & Resources

Workshops, groups, events, educational products, downloads, retreats, and other offerings may have separate terms, eligibility requirements, refund policies, or participation agreements.

Those terms will be provided at registration or purchase and will control when they differ from these general website Terms & Conditions.

Third-Party Services

This website may provide access or links to third-party services, including scheduling platforms, payment processors, financing providers, social media platforms, and other outside resources.

Authentic Perspectives does not control the privacy practices, availability, content, eligibility requirements, or terms of third-party services.

Use of third-party services is also subject to the terms and privacy practices of those providers.

Reasonable efforts are made to maintain accurate and available website information; however, uninterrupted website access cannot be guaranteed.

Website content, services, availability, pricing, and policies may be updated periodically.

Changes affecting active clinical services or financial agreements will be handled according to the applicable clinical or financial policy.
