When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect personal information you provide, such as your name, address, email address, and payment details.
 
Additionally, when you browse our store, we automatically collect your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, and operating system to help us optimize user experience and security.
 
We may also collect non-personally identifiable information through cookies, log files, and analytics tools to improve our website functionality and user experience. See Section 9 - Cookies and Tracking for details.
If you consent, we may use your contact information to send marketing emails about our store, promotions, new products, or other updates.

SECTION 4 - PAYMENT PROCESSING (STRIPE, SQUARE & BNPL OPTIONS)

Our store offers multiple secure payment methods, including Stripe, Square, and Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services such as Afterpay and Klarna.

Stripe Payments

• Payments processed via Stripe are encrypted and stored securely in compliance with PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).

• Stripe ensures secure transactions and does not store card details beyond what is necessary to complete transactions.

Square Payments

• Square encrypts payments and follows PCI-DSS compliance to ensure data security.

• Your credit card details are not stored by Square after a transaction is completed.

Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) Options

We offer Afterpay and Klarna as BNPL options, allowing you to split payments into installments for greater financial flexibility.

Afterpay
 

• Eligibility: Available to residents of supported countries who are 18 years or older with a valid debit/credit card.

• Payment Plan:

  • Split your purchase into four equal payments, due every two weeks.

  • No interest or fees if payments are made on time.

  • Automatic payments are deducted from your linked debit or credit card.

• Late Payment Consequences:

  • Missed payments may result in late fees and could impact future eligibility.

  • Afterpay may restrict access if payments are overdue.

• Refund Policy: Afterpay payments are non-refundable for services rendered in accordance with APCC’s policy.

Klarna
 

• Eligibility: Klarna may conduct a soft credit check to determine eligibility, but it does not affect your credit score.

• Payment Plan Options:

  • Pay in 4: Split your purchase into four equal installments over six weeks.

  • Pay Later: Make a one-time payment 30 days after purchase.

  • Financing: Long-term installment plans (subject to approval).

• Late Payment Consequences:

  • Klarna may charge late fees if payments are not made on time.

  • Unpaid balances may be sent to debt collection agencies, which can affect credit standing.

• Refund Policy: Klarna payments are non-refundable for services rendered in accordance with APCC’s policy.

APCC NO REFUND POLICY
 
Authentic Perspectives Counseling & Coaching (APCC) does not offer refunds for services rendered.

• Once a session, consultation, or service has been provided, it is non-refundable.

• This applies to all payment methods, including BNPL payments via Afterpay or Klarna.

• Customers using BNPL options are responsible for completing their installment payments, even if they choose to discontinue services.

• If you have billing concerns, please contact helloapcc@gmail.com before making a payment.

General Payment Security

• All payment processors comply with PCI-DSS security standards set by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

• We do not store or have direct access to your full payment details.

• By selecting a BNPL payment option, you agree to the terms and conditions of the respective provider.

SECTION 5 - THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
 
We may use third-party service providers for payment processing, analytics, advertising, and shipping services. These providers only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform their services.

We do not control third-party privacy practices. We strongly recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing personal information.

Jurisdictional Considerations: If you engage with a third-party service provider in a different country, your information may be subject to that jurisdiction’s laws (e.g., U.S. Patriot Act for American-based processors).

External Links: When you click links on our website leading to third-party sites, our privacy policy no longer applies. We encourage reviewing their policies.

SECTION 6 - SECURITY MEASURES

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
